The Hope Couples Project is a University-based resource center for couples, religious leaders, and professional therapists using the Hope-focused approach for couples counseling or enrichment. The cost of therapy sessions is normally $60 for intake and $40 per session. This includes a comprehensive relationship assessment, and feedback report at no additional cost. A referral from a pastor/religious leader is 50% off. Couples with financial needs can discuss a sliding scale option at the first session.

Hampton Roads Survivors of Suicide Support Group is a support group designed to help family and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide to cope with the sorrow of their tragedy and to heal in healthy, life-giving ways. The S.O.S. group offers you a chance to be with individuals who have been through the same thing. You can talk about your situation, share feelings and resources and get support through fellowship and understanding. There is no charge. The group is sponsored by Mayrview Behavioral Medicine Center and meets currently every 3rd Wednesday from 7 pm until 9 pm at St. Andrew Lutheran Church
